SUBWAY SIGNS POSTER
PROJECT ROLE
Poster Design
Graphic/Visual Design
This was a project I completed for my History of Graphic Design course with Professor Douglass Scott. Given a famous landmark in art history, we were assigned to design a 15x30 poster featuring imagery and a well-written essay about the landmark.
Cross-using Illustrator and Photoshop, I built subway line designs identical to those that Vignelli designed, which worked as the graphic elements to tie the entire poster together. Helvetica was the show's star in this piece, and I enjoyed working with large and small type in a 1:2 poster size.
